Safety and radiation protection

Nucleco develops and implements safety procedures for all phases of decommissioning.

It provides the main assessment services for nuclear safety such as:

- Safety analysis and probabilistic assessment;

- Emergency planning;

- HAZOP (HAZard Operation) analysis;

- HAZID (HAZard Identification) studies.

When carrying out all its activities, the Company adopts the principle of ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable), so that each intervention aims for the minimum possible radiological exposure.

Nucleco boasts extensive experience in the design and construction of shielding and remote operation systems. ​
